To the OP nice job. You probably just killed some peoples extra income by posting this guide. GG
The best part that I see is that if you wanted a dire black widow instead of elder (or whatever) then you could just do the run over and over til you got the kind you wanted. If you pay someone then you are stuck with whatever kind of spider spawns, or pay for another run (dumb). Who know you may even get an ecto during the run.
Once again nice post, you may get a sticky out of this one.

after re-thinking my build I think there might be a way to do it with just one hero. I'll have to do some testing tonight.

I got my spider using Discordway (3 heroes) . It isn't that hard.

Could do this another simpler way, get 1 55/ 600/ perma to tank aggro, then bring multiple heroes with RoJ and arcane echo. Repeatedly own uw until everyone has a spider. Throw in an ice imp for added ownage.
This is a decent way, but it's pretty slow going and as long as you can find a friend to tank should be fairly simple to use heroes to nuke their way to the spider.

I always did runs until the desired Evolution of the Widow spawned for my customers. Never bothered me to do multiple runs. Then again, I charged a higher price because of the possibility of having to make multiple runs... Those who are too lazy to do what the OP did and figure it out themselves are more than welcome to line my pockets...

well after checking out the storage it appears there isn't a point to my other setup that would allow you to do a run for your heroes.
